The Way of the Househusband is a Slice Of Life Anime that originally came out on April 8, 2021. It is an adaptation of a Manga of the same name, which is very popular, much like Anime. It follows a man named Tatsu, who, after a long life of crime decides to call it quits and live a stable life with his partner. The Way of the Househusband Season 3 is something that fans are hoping for. So will it happen?
Overview – The Way of the Househusband
The main point of the story is that Tatsu keeps getting into problems with members of his old Gang. This adds many different narratives for the story to go down and we get many more funny and interesting moments in the series as it progresses. The Anime had in my opinion very nice storytelling and the dialogue was pretty funny. The illustration of The Way of the Househusband is credited to Kousuke Oono.
Whilst having to deal with his old associates, he’s also expected to take care of the housework at the place where they live. These tasks can sometimes be hard for Tatsu, who takes all of the tasks very seriously. You can imagine this makes for a pretty enjoyable Anime, and any fans are hoping for The Way of the Househusband Season 3.
Ending of The Way of the Househusband
The story ends mainly with Tatsu settling his rivalries with one of his old Yakuza (I’m assuming) associates using a cooking tournament. Although the Anime ending was not conclusive at all. Many untied ends didn’t have their part addressed in the final episode of the second season of The Way of the Househusband. These uncertain and unconcluded problems will certainly be addressed in The Way of the Househusband Season 3.
Now I’ll admit that the ending wasn’t anything special, I’ve seen way more low-profile Anime with way better type endings than what we’re given with The Way of the Househusband. Hopefully, Season 3 of The Way of the Househusband will give us some more insight into Tatsu’s rivalries and more about his past life.
Is The Way of the Househusband Season 3 Possible?
The Way of the Househudband Season 2 was released on Netflix on October 7, 2021. However, the second part only contains 5 episodes that are 17-19 mins long. This is pretty surprising to me, and it kinda annoyed me a bit.
As far as the popular Slice Of Anime is concerned, The Way of the Househusband Season 3 has not yet been announced by J.C.Staff or Netflix. Let’s look at the first season’s reviews. They were overwhelmingly positive and intriguing. People seem to like this Anime. Now, after watching the second season of Anime, I would say this will also be the case for The Way of the Househusband Season 3.
As well as this I’d think it be clever to point out the fact that Netflix has been moving more and more into the Anime space. It’s been becoming more evident as Netflix grows its Anime library evermore.
With releases like Komi Can’t Communicate (which is a Netflix Original), and Blue Period it’s obvious that this is an area that Netflix intends to expand into.
When will The Way of the Househusband Season 3 Release?
Keeping in mind what I said before, I would personally say that The Way of the Househusband is set to renew. This is certain. Using simple logic we can determine that if there is a 3rd Season, it will most likely be released in 2022 maybe in the 3rd quarter. I’m not too sure about that but I believe it’s very likely.
