Morgpie’s latest Bulma cosplay sees BiggusWombus, as she’s also known online, take on one of anime’s most recognisable looks – Bulma’s bunny suit from Dragon Ball – and the post has picked up more than 43,000 likes on Instagram.

She captioned the carousel “Bunnysuit Bulma 💙 The OG lover girl 💞”, and the comments filled up fast with fans who reckon this might be her strongest cosplay to date.

Morgpie nails the essentials of the classic costume. There’s the bright turquoise bob, tall black bunny ears, a red bow tie and white cuffs, paired with a black leotard, blue tights and glossy red heels. It’s instantly recognisable, even before you read the caption.

The set does a lot of the heavy lifting too. The shoot is bathed in blue and purple neon, with glowing heart signs and a vertical light tube behind her, giving the whole thing a moody, arcade-meets-anime feel that suits the character well. The post is a collab with creator toffer.kim, who’s tagged in the carousel.

It’s a step up in production from her cow costume shoot, which leaned more playful and cartoonish – this one feels much more polished and editorial.

How fans reacted

The comments were overwhelmingly positive, with plenty of people singling out the effort that went into the shoot. One of the top replies asked:

“How are you literally anime?”

Others kept it short and sweet. “GOOD LORD” was one of the most-liked comments on the post, while another fan wrote “YOU WERE MADE FOR THIS COSPLAY”, and a third called it “one of your best photoshoots yet”.

The collab didn’t go unnoticed either, with one fan summing it up as “toffer x morg. great day to have eyes”. There were also a few comments asking when a “Dredd collab” is happening – so it sounds like fans already have the next shoot planned for her.

Engagement

With 43K likes, the Bulma set sits comfortably ahead of her pink hot tub shoot with Miawaifugur, which landed at nearly 30,000. It’s a good sign that her character cosplays are where her audience is most engaged – and a recognisable anime pick like Bulma gives the post an easy reach beyond her usual followers.
