The new season of My Dress-Up Darling could easily be in production very soon. As of yet, Season 2 has not been announced, either by the official site or by Twitter for My Dress-Up Darling. My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 is already in the works! The popular Anime My Dress-Up Darling will be getting a sequel. My Dress-Up Darling is a Slice of Life Romance Anime. Marin and Gojo will both be returning for the second season. We can’t wait to see what happens next for these two lovebirds!
The very popular Anime centred around 2 students who both share similar interests is already one of the most viewed Anime on Crunchyroll. For this reason, it’s very likely it will get a season 2.
So will My Dress-Up Darling be renewed on Crunchyroll?
Yes, it is very likely that My Dress-Up Darling will return and we will see Gojo and Marin again. The new season, if aired, will be released on Crunchyroll for their subscribers. Those who do not pay for Crunchyroll will have to wait a bit for example.
You’re not going to see the Anime appear anywhere else unless it’s on an illegal site for example. So if you’re not signed up to Crunchyroll, you might want to consider it so you never miss the new episodes if more My Dress-Up Darling content aires.
Why is My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 likely?
The reason that My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 is likely, is because firstly, this Anime was very popular. By the time the first season of the Anime was released, the Manga had sold over 5 million copies. This is in contrast to the over 1 million it had sold just before the release.
Another point to consider would be that the Anime got an English dub, this is a good sign that the Anime is popular and successful. This normally only happens to Anime with potential.
Finally, many posts on Twitter by some of the show’s producers and cast, have said that a “season 2 would be great” and that after more chapters of the Manga are released, it will be “more likely”. We ultimately believe that a My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 is very likely.

Since Cradle View does not have any new information on when the new Anime will release, we can only speculate. The good news is that we estimate that it won’t be long until the second season of My Dress-Up Darling comes to fans.
We would say that given the popularity of the Anime, it should come to fans anywhere from late 2022 some sites have said, or early 2023. So until then, fans will have to wait for the My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 to release.
What would My Dress-Up Darling feature?
The story of My Dress-Up Darling will be continued and we will see all of the characters that appeared in the season make a new appearance in the Anime. The new Season would take off from what we saw with the two main characters, Gojo and Kitagawa.
We saw this in some of the later episodes of My Dress-Up Darling, where the two main characters got into some sexual situations. One of these was where Marin ended up basically riding Gojo in a very sexual way.

What’s the cast for My Dress-Darling?
We will see many of the returning characters from the season 1 Anime adaptation of My Dress-Up Darling in the new season. The cast for the Anime My Dress-Up Darling is as follows:
- Shoya Ishige portrays gojô Wakana.
- Hina Suguta performes Kitagawa Marin.
- Atsumi Tanezaki presentes Inui Sajuna.
- Atsushi Ono features Gojou Kaoru.
- Hina Yomiya representes Inui Shinju.
