While exploring an old mansion, they discover a jungle-themed game called Jumanji in the attic. 7. GoldenEye

Popularised by the video game during the 2000s, this Bond film starring Martin Campbell is a fan favourite among many. The story goes as follows:
When a deadly satellite system is seized by Alec Trevelyan, also known as Agent 006 (Sean Bean), a former ally turned foe, only James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) can prevent a global disaster.
The powerful space weapon Trevelyan controls could obliterate the earth with a single pulse. As Bond faces off against his old comrade, he also contends with Trevelyan’s dangerous accomplice, Xenia Onatopp (Famke Janssen), an assassin who uses seduction as her lethal weapon.

6. Waterworld

Starring Kevin Costner, Jeanne Tripplehorn, and Dennis Hopper, this thrilling epic showcases a post-apocalyptic world covered by water.
After the polar ice caps melt, most of the world is submerged underwater. A few humans survive, and even fewer, like the Mariner, have evolved to live in the ocean by developing gills.

Taking place during a global outbreak, this sci-fi adventure movie from 1995 makes great use of this genre, really creating a sense of panic and fear. So what is it about?
In this tense thriller, a deadly airborne virus threatens humanity after an infected African monkey is smuggled into the U.S., triggering an outbreak in a California town. A team of doctors, including a contagious disease expert (Dustin Hoffman) and his ex-wife (Rene Russo), is called in to contain the spread.
As the Army steps in to manage the crisis, the doctors race against time to save the town and its residents from the rapidly spreading virus.

3. Cutthroat Island

So many people have heard of this movie, after all, it’s a cult classic. But did you know there’s a 1995 adventure movie based on this story? So what is it about?
Morgan Adams (Geena Davis), a spirited pirate, inherits her late father’s ship and one-third of a treasure map leading to Cutthroat Island.
The map is tattooed on her father’s scalp, and to find the treasure, she must track down and scalp his two brothers. However, her ruthless uncle, Dawg Brown (Frank Langella), is determined to claim the treasure for himself, setting up a fierce battle with his determined niece and her reluctant partner, a Latin-speaking physician named William Shaw (Matthew Modine).

2. The Indian in the Cupboard

This 1995 adventure movie might have a bit of a strange name but don’t let that fool you, this flick is one of the best on this list. Here’s what it’s about:
On his birthday, Omri (Hal Scardino) receives a few simple gifts, including an old wooden cupboard and a small plastic figurine of a Native American man.

This animated film tells the story of Pocahontas (Seong Yujin), a young Native American woman, and her romance with Capt.

Her father, Chief Powhatan, disapproves and wants her to marry a native warrior, while Smith’s fellow settlers aim to steal the Native Americans’ gold. Pocahontas must navigate these challenges to protect her people and her love for Smith.
