Overview of Satowa Hozuki
An overview of the Satowa Hozuki Character Profile will start like this – just like Kurata, Satowa Hozuki is a hard worker and values the koto. in the beginning episodes of the anime, Hozuki comes off as cold and rude, but in the later episodes, she begins to warm up to the other characters, even to Kudo as well. Hozuki is a likeable character and one that we as viewers are all rooting for.
Appearance and Aura
An important part of the Satowa Hozuki Character Profile is her appearance. She has the look of a schoolgirl look in the anime and is dressed very modestly. She doesn’t give off a strange or uncomfortable feel but is dressed in a simple but eye-catching way nonetheless.
She has long brown silky hair which she usually keeps tied up to avoid it getting in the way, as well as a pair of memorizing brown eyes. She has an overall attractive physique and appearance and this makes her more likeable as the series goes on.
As previously mentioned she is quite attractive maybe even so to Kudo but this is never gone into in the anime if it is it’s done so in a very vague kind of way.
It’s frustrating because we really want to see these two get together but it never happens in the anime. She gives off a feeling of modesty and authority with her presence and this stays until the end episodes.
Personality of Satowa Hozuki
She has an interesting personality in the Kono Oto Toamre! as when she is first approached by both Kurata and Kudo she puts on an act and pretends to be someone she’s not. Hozuki states the reason for this is that she didn’t want to intimidate some of the koto players in her club who might have been girls.
Since there aren’t any more girls she densest need to make an impression and as a result acts the way she wants, much to the reluctance of Kudo and Kurata.
Over the course of the anime series, however, Hozuki begins to change the way she acts and talks to/treats other characters in the series. And this is because she realizes the value of teamwork and working together while playing the koto. Other than that Hozuki also has some relatable personality traits in the way she acts to others and the other characters in the series.
History in Kono Oto Tomare!
Satowa Hozuki joins the Koto club in the second episode of season 1 of Kono Oto Tomare! and is invited to join it by Kurata who is delighted at having her in the club as her experience is well above average level regarding the Koto.
In terms of history, we don’t get to see much regarding Hozuki as she appears in the 2 seasons of Kono Oto Tomare! She has the same amount of screen time as both Kudo and Kurata and is just as important a character as the two.

We see her arc from season 1 to the end of season 2 and this is certainly memorable. Hopefully, we will see more of her in season 3 if that comes around, but for now, that’s all we can say.
Character Arc
In terms of character, Satowa Hozuki is lacking as we don’t really see her character transition from one position to another. She starts off as cold and distant in the first season in the earlier episodes but starts to warm up to the other characters and by the later episodes she has warmed up to most of the characters including Chika.
So the arc we see regarding Satowa Hozuki includes her character as she goes from a Tsundere-type character to a well-liked caring main character who is not only liked by the viewers but by the other charters as well.
This is all we have in terms of any sort of viable arc we can see and this is how it is in the Kono Oto Tomare! We may see more changes in season 3 if there are one.
Character Significance In Kono Oto Tomare!
Satowa Hozuki plays a big part in the anime and is one of the 3 main characters in the series. She is one who plans to take the Koto club that Chika and Kurata are in the nationals and she is the one who guides them.
Chika and Kurata look up to her because of her status but she also becomes humbled as a result and wants to relate to them more. Without Satowa Hozuki there would be no story as Satowa Hozuki would not be able to go to nationals and they would not have the determination they do in the anime series.
