Luther is a psychological crime drama centred around a troubled, clever detective called John Luther. He is a part of the Metropolitan Police Services CID in a part of London and catches serial killers while dealing with personal and work-related issues. Here is the cast of Luther Series 3.

Luther was very popular at its peak and the show was one of the better darker crime dramas floating around similar to Line of Duty or Prime Suspect.

However, by the end of the fourth season, and really by season 3, the show had started to go downhill, and when DS Justin Ripley was shot, the show, in my opinion, went downhill.
