A video on TikTok has been circulating recently showcasing an aunties hysteric and alarming reaction to her niece telling her she is going on holiday to Bali. The reaction was insane.
Seemingly a normal announcement, it would seem that all was well, but within seconds, the video showcases the aunties fiery and scary outbursts as she proclaims that her niece is “not going to Bali”.

The aunties crazy reaction was shared in a 0:59 second TikTok video posted by Amelia – this account seems to a fitness account.
However, upon inspection, it is clear that this is not the only content that she has posted. Amelia seems to be a regular uploader of fitness content but decided to share this tense moment with other TikTok users.
As of March 18th 2025, the video had over 6,000,000 views, with over 10,000 comments and just over 600,000 likes. Many of the comments shared disbelief at what they were seeing, whilst others simply told Amelia to “send her a postcard from Bali‘, in reference to her aunties reaction.
Many fans were confused, with one saying:
“Why is she angry I don’t understand at all”
While another wrote:
“Aww she’s letting you know why she’s affected. She’s still angry she never got to live the life she wanted. That’s not your fault though. Enjoy your Bali trip”

“Judging by her screeching: “I’ve had my lifetime stolen from me, your generation just stinks” shows she’s insanely jealous that you’re simply living your life and travelling”
More cautiously, a user warned:
“Your aunt is very dangerous move out as soon as you can and don’t make any contact with her at all, you need to distance yourself with these kinds of people. They are very unhealed and a lot of hate -”
Finally, a user laughably pointed out:
“The fact you’re all having tea and cake is killing me”

It didn’t end there
If you thought that was the last of it you’re wrong! Amelia also started getting a number of different messages from her aunt via SMS.
The messages were essnetailly tips of travelling and safety advice. Amelia was quick to point out the huge paragraphs of text and likend them to “essays” in the caption of the photo slides.
In the final screenshot, Julia, who is presumeably Amelia’s auntie, says:
“Hope you’ve got it all together”
This seemed liked quite a rich statement given her initial reaction, but Amelia did not show any response.
