The Hell’s Paradise manga is a very popular manga, and of course, the reason for that, or one of the many reasons for that is the characters, so below, I will detail some of the main characters.

Rien

First, in the Hell’s Paradise Manga, we have the main adversary of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku is Rien (, Pinyin: Lián). She was a Tensen-class Sennin who served as Lord Tensen’s leader, the true ruler of Kotaku, and the inspiration for the Tensens.

Rien had spent her entire existence on Kotaku plotting and experimenting in the ways of Tao in an attempt to bring her beloved deceased husband Jofuku back to life and had intended to wipe out all life in Japan in order to achieve this goal. When she was younger, Rien had a single, long bang of violet hair that hung from the left side of her face. After surviving for a millennium, Rien becomes incredibly old. As a result of her Arborification, she had lost her hair and had small sprouts of twigs and leaves on her head.

Gabimaru

Next in the Hell’s Paradise Manga we have the main character of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku is Gabimaru. He is the final bearer of the famed alias Gabimaru the Hollow (, Garan no Gabimaru), an elite assassin from Iwagakure. Yui, the ninth daughter of the Iwagakure chief, is married to him as well.Until he was betrayed by his community for wishing to give up being a murderer and live a tranquil life with his wife, Gabimaru was Iwagakure’s most notorious shinobi. As a result, he was turned over to the authorities to be put to death.

But, Gabimaru receives an offer from Yamada Asaemon Sagiri to take part in the competition assignment and a reward after the shogun orders offenders on death row to obtain the Elixir of Life from the perilous island known as Kotaku in exchange for a pardon for their prior misdeeds.

Yamada Asaemon Sagiri

In Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku, the deuteragonist is Yamada Asaemon Sagiri. She is the daughter of Yamada Asaemon Kichiji, the former clan lord, and the clan’s 12th rank Asaemon. In order to receive a pardon for their prior misdeeds, the shogun ordered offenders to obtain the Elixir of Life from the perilous island known as Kotaku. Sagiri hired Gabimaru and was given the responsibility of overseeing him until the task was finished.

Yui

Yui, who is another character in the Hell’s Paradise Manga is Gabimaru’s wife and the seventh child of Iwagakure Chief. Yui is a young woman with blonde, curly hair that reaches her shoulder blades and a prominent scar running from her forehead to her cheek on the right side of her face. Although Yui insisted that this was not because she was self-conscious about her beauty, she first wore her bangs down to disguise the scar on the right side of her face early in her marriage.

Yui is incredibly gentle, kind, and caring. She genuinely cares about Gabimaru and thinks he is not as emotionless as people portray him to be. She is one of the best characters in the Hell’s Paradise Manga.

Aza Chōbei

Aza Chbei is a pivotal supporting figure in the Hell’s Paradise Manga and a minor foe in Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku. He is a well-known bandit leader in Iyo and is referred to as the Bandit King (, Zoku-). He has committed numerous crimes. After being detained, Chbei joined a select group of criminals hired to bring the shogun the Elixir of Life from the perilous island of Kotaku in exchange for a pardon, with his brother Aza Tma serving as his designated monitor.

He self-inflicted severe scarring on the right side of his face, including a missing eye, in the past, to defend his brother.
